Are you thinking about investing in HMOs?

Wednesday, May 17th, 2017 - By Richard Tacagni, Managing Director, London Property Licensing

Understanding all the rules and regulations around Houses in Multiple Occupation (HMOs) is never an easy task. Will the property need planning permission or an HMO licence, what is involved in managing an HMO and is it the right investment decision for you?

With so many landlords thinking about entering the HMO market, I was delighted to be invited to discuss this topic as part of the Inside Property series which is organised by landlord and property expert Richard Blanco in collaboration with the National Landlords Association.

Entitled ‘HMO: Heaven or Hell?‘ the programme comprises a wide ranging and insightful discussion involving Alison Broderick, planning and property manager for Platinum Property Partners, Billy Gill, Director of Open House Estate Agents and Ash Zuberi, Director of Easy Living Property Limited and founder of the HMO (Official) Group on Facebook.

The programme is now available as a 30-minute free podcast and is well worth a listen – simple click on the play button below.

If you have enjoyed this programme, you can visit the Inside Property website to access other podcasts in the series.
