Join us for a property licensing Twitter debate on Thursday 12 May at 1pm!
London Property Licensing is delighted to have partnered with VTUK to run the first ever property licensing #QuestionTribe Twitter debate on Thursday 12 May, from 1pm to 2pm.
This Twitter debate is open to all – whether you are a landlord, letting agent, local authority or service provider. Just use the hashtag #QuestionTribe to pose you questions and experts from London Property Licensing and VTUK will be on hand to respond.
Many landlords still think of property licensing as something that only applies to larger Houses in Multiple Occupation, but this is no longer the case. More and more licensing schemes are being set up across the country, each with different terms and conditions. In some areas, even properties rented to a single family need to be licensed.
For more information, you can watch the short video below.
Richard Tacagni, Managing Director of London Property Licensing said:
“I think this Twitter debate is a great opportunity to raise awareness of property licensing schemes and help landlords and letting agents ensure they are complying with the law. Get things wrong and landlords could face prosecution and a hefty fine, so it’s worth taking a few minutes to check which properties need to be licensed.“
Peter Grant, Managing Director of @VTUK said:
“We’re running our Twitter debate with London Property Licensing, so we can spread the message about how local authority licensing is impacting every agent and landlord across the UK. It’s essential to understand the requirements so they are compliant, that’s why we’ve put together this debate. We urge everyone to follow us @VTUK and get involved using #QuestionTribe.“
To coincide with the Twitter debate, VTUK have written a blog ‘Landlord Licensing: Do you know all the rules?’ that you can read here.
