This prestigious event, in association with sponsors Bluefin insurance and The Landlord Investment Show, is being held to celebrate the successes of the accreditation scheme which supports and educates landlords and letting agents and to acknowledge and reward excellence amongst its members.

The conference will bring together over 500 landlords, agents, housing professionals and VIP guests and will cover topical issues affecting the Private Rented Sector (PRS). Speakers at the event will include David Princep, UKLAP Chairman, David Smith, a Partner at Anthony Gold Solicitors, Gordon Fox, a Specialist Tax partner with one of the UK’s Leading Accountancy Practices, Francis Clark and leading property expert, Kate Faulkner.

The conference & Award Ceremony will also see the launch of the brand new LLAS/UKLAP Networking member’s brand, an extension to the already established and successful Networking Events and the Biennial Conference & Award Ceremony brand.

David Princep, UKLAP Chairman commented:

The Private Rented Sector is in a period of radical change with a plethora of changes in all areas from landlord-tenancy issues to property standards and finances. This conference is an opportunity to hear from the leading experts in all these fields on the changes and how they will affect the private rented sector generally. The conference also provides an excellent networking arena with colleagues from all areas within the PRS.

Chairing the UKLAP is both worthwhile and satisfying and I am delighted to be taking part in this year’s event and being able to acknowledge those members who have provided outstanding service to tenants and helped raise standards in the private rented sector.

Richard Tacagni, Managing Director, London Property Licensing added:

The London Property Licensing website launched less than 12 months ago and has already received over 100,000 page views. I am delighted that the business has been shortlisted at the UK Landlord Accreditation Partnership Awards, which demonstrates how far the business has come in such a short space of time.

My objective has always been to provide landlords and letting awards with simple, impartial and expert advice and encourage better regulation of the private rented sector. The feedback from landlords has been fantastic as awareness of the unique London Property Licensing website continues to grow”.

Tickets for the UK Landlord Accreditation Partnership Awards Conference and Awards night on Friday 18 March are selling fast and so people are being advised to book their tickets soon to avoid disappointment.
