When it comes to the regulation of private rented homes, you have come to the right place. As our name suggests, we are experts in property licensing and the regulation of private rented homes. We know a lot about Houses in Multiple Occupation (HMOs), housing standards and the housing health and safety rating system!

The consultancy side of our business supports landlords, letting agents, organisations and local authorities. Whilst we specialise in the London property market, we also offer advice and assistance to clients based elsewhere in the country.

All consultancy work is overseen by Richard Tacagni MCIEH CEnvH BSc (Hons), Managing Director at London Property Licensing. He is a Chartered Environmental Health Practitioner with over 25 years’ experience, having worked for local authorities in the Midlands, the South West of England and London.

He is a leading expert in housing regulation and spent four years as Head of Housing at LACORS where he was involved in producing the LACORS’ national fire safety guidance. He was also tasked with helping all local authorities in England to implement the Housing Act 2004. More information is available here.

Licence applications, representations, variations and temporary exemptions

Need help submitting a licence application, representation, varying a licence or applying for a temporary exemption? We can help you!
